How does it work?

Lumicare ONE can be connected directly to the PACS, just like an ultrasound machine. No additional hardware is required. When performing a disinfection cycle, you select the patient from the Modality Worklist and a disinfection cycle record will be sent to the PACS automatically.

USB Download

Lumicare ONE’s disinfection cycle information is always stored digitally on your device. Users can download all their disinfection cycle information to USB for digital back-up and analysis via a computer

What is traceability?

Collecting and recording disinfection cycle information such as date, time, operator, probe identifier / serial number, disinfection status (Pass/Fail), and linking all this information to a patient.

Why do I need to keep traceability records?

Depending on which country you are in, there is usually a requirement for a healthcare facility to keep such records in case of disease outbreak or product recall for investigation and patient notification purposes. Standards including the Australian National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards, AS/NZS 4187, ASUM guidelines, CDC: Guideline for Disinfection and Sterilization in Healthcare Facilities, BMUS Guidelines For Professional Ultrasound Practice to name a few.
